The aforementioned anesthesia illustrations are finally done! Though the original field guide was intended for black and white printing, I felt a splash of color (for 3-color press) was in order. So, I went back to the drawing board tweaked the images a little. Studying this material has given me an appreciation for all the considerations necessary for anesthesia preparation and after care. These illustrations were designed to prioritize speed of assimilation for the field practitioner, rather than hyper-intricate anatomical detail.
Be sure to check out the new logo mark that was designed for a non-profit. Also, I added a cover that was designed for Ginormous Coloring Books (a product of Morris Publishing Group).
I am currently translating some pen & ink line art into digital vector format for appending to my portfolio. This is work that was intended for a volunteer project that never went to press. It was a delight to produce the work anyway, and a great way to learn about some basics of anesthesiology. This will soon be uploaded for your viewing pleasure…:) (60% complete).
